Love Island 2025 Cast has officially taken over our summer screens, and the show has returned for its 12th season of love with Maya Jama returning as the host for her third summer who teased even more “twists than ever” in this season1. The twelfth season of the revived Love Island premiered on ITV2 on June 9, 2025, and ran for 58 days with the final airing on August 4, 2025, where Toni Laites and Cach Mercer were crowned the winners2.
This season has brought unprecedented drama, romance, and shocking twists that have kept viewers glued to their screens. From the messiest of love triangles with the likes of Toni, Harrison and Lauren to brutal dumpings including fan favourite Tommy Bradley, it’s been a series that had us hooked from the beginning1.
The Original Cast Members
The Ladies
Sophie Lee – The Empowerment Queen The 29-year-old used to be a fire-breather, before sustaining injuries in a freak accident. The Manchester resident now works as a motivational speaker. “I’m the CEO of empowerment,” she says3. Unfortunately, Sophie became the first Love Island 2025 contestant to be evicted after her partner stood up to couple up with someone else in week 1’s shock twist1.
Shakira Khan – The Marketing Maven Shakira is a gorgeous 22-year-old, hailing from Burnley making her one of the younger Island potentials this year. This love-hopeful works in Marketing. She said she is looking for “someone who is tall, charming, witty, with big arms, a good smile and just really funny”4. Shakira is the youngest girl, aged 22. You wouldn’t think she’s the youngest one there, the way she has that villa eating out the palm of her hands5.
Megan Moore – The Irish Charmer Megan is from Ireland, and lives in Brighton. This 24-year-old is a musical theatre performer and energy broker, clearly a multifaceted woman!4 She’s looking for “Someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and has a sense of humour. I’m 5ft1 so any height really”6. Megan is supposedly friends with ex-Islander and fan-favourite Harriet Blackmore. Some fans have suggested she has similar looks to other fan-favourite Maura Higgins4.
Helena – The Air Hostess Age: 22 From: London Air hostess with secret celeb connections? Helena’s giving cool-girl energy with a side of scandal7. “Somebody funny or Northern. You can pretty much laugh me into bed,” Helena says6. Right now she’s coupled up with Harry, following their sneaky night in the Hideaway. She was originally paired up with Conor on day one, but the pair admitted they weren’t feeling each other and began looking for other opportunities6.
Alima – The Business Boss Brains, beauty, and boardroom-ready? Alima’s bringing boss energy to the villa. She’s got the glam, the game, and a killer wardrobe7. She’s looking for someone who is tall, charming, witty, with big arms, a good smile and just really funny8.
Angel Swift – Another Original Islander Angel Swift was among the contestants set to star on the upcoming dating show hosted by Maya Jama4. Angel and Ty finished in 4th place in the final9.
The Guys
Dejon Noel-Williams – The Football Legacy Dejon is a 26-year-old, personal trainer and amateur footballer from London. His family originates from the Caribbean island of Grenada playing for their national team in 2021, his dad being the famous ex-England footballer, Gifton Noel-Williams4. Dejon, semi-professional footballer himself, says his claim to fame is the fact that his dad is an ex-professional footballer. “I’ve met all kinds of famous people through him,” he says. I’ve met David Beckham, he was really nice”1. He boasts over 11k followers on Instagram already, post-Love Island 2025 Cast he is sure to gain even more!4
Harry Cooksley – The Triple Threat Harry is a 29-year-old from Guildford. He wears lots of different hats as a semi-professional footballer, gold trader and model4. His claim to fame? “I’m the body double for Declan Rice. So when he does a shoot, any body close-ups will actually be me. You’ll never see my face, but you’ll see my shoulder or chest, that kind of thing”8. Harry and Shakira finished as runners-up, coming in 2nd place9.
Blu – The Construction Charmer Blu is a London born, 26-year-old looking for love this summer. Working as a construction project manager, and part-time model, we might see him making Islanders and viewers giggle with his cheeky charm4. He’s looking for someone who is family-oriented, has a lot of love to give, and a lot of love to receive. Personality goes a long way. The fact I speak fluent Spanish comes in handy when it comes to flirting!8 Unfortunately, Blu was ultimately dumped from the island early in the season2.
Tommy Bradley – The Landscape Gardener Tommy is a 22-year-old ‘cheeky chappy’ heading to the Island, hailing from Hertfordshire. This Islander is a Landscape Gardner, so he’s sure to be critical of what the villa looks like this year4. He is a gym guy with the body to match, a certified pretty boy, he himself saying he takes “hours to do my hair”. Tommy is of a mixed English and Italian background, let’s see if he can get the girls saying ‘Mamma Mia!’4
Conor Phillips – The Late Addition Originally, Kyle Ashman was set to enter, but less than 24 hours after the initial cast announcement, it was revealed that Kyle had been pulled from the original line-up after it was discovered that he had been arrested on suspicion of a machete attack in February. He was subsequently replaced with Conor Phillips2. Conor, a 25-year-old professional rugby player. He lives in Limerick in Ireland and plays for the county’s national team. This Islander proclaims himself as the ‘CEO of Mischief’4.
Bombshells and Casa Amor Arrivals
Toni Laites – The American Winner A day before the launch, ITV confirmed 24-year-old Las Vegas Pool Cabana server Toni Laites from Connecticut, United States as the first “bombshell” of the series2. Toni arrived after the coupling on Day 1, and was told she would be able to steal a boy for herself. She picked Ben, leaving Shakira single2. Toni is also the first American Islander competing in the ITV series9. She went on to win the show with Cach!
Cach Mercer – The Casa Amor Champion Cach marks the first Casa Amor boy to win the series2. He coupled up with Toni and their connection proved strong enough to take them all the way to victory.
Andrada Pop – Casa Amor Drama Queen Andrada entered as an explosive Casa Amor bombshell and caused fireworks with Dejon as she set her sights on him. However, once Dejon backed off, Andrada and Ben found themselves voted the least compatible by the public vote and were dumped immediately1.
Lucy Quinn – The Youngest Bombshell Lucy entered as the youngest contestant this year and as a Casa Amor bombshell. Upon entering the villa, she set her sights on Tommy as she thought he was “just a lovely lad” with “good morals”. Lucy and Tommy hit it off immediately with him deciding to couple up with her over Emily back in the main villa1. Things were going well until the public made them vulnerable as the least compatible which then saw Shakira and Ty vote them off1.
Caprice – The Husband Hunter On the hunt for her husband, Caprice entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell. Picking Dejon Noel-Williams as the man she wanted to get to know, the pair got to have a sleep over in the Casa Amor villa. However, after 48 hours, Dejon decided his connection with Megan Moore was stronger and sadly, Caprice was dumped from the island1.
Will – The Brief Bombshell Entering the villa as a bombshell, Will was on the lookout for his soul mate who he could have fun with as well as workout alongside. Will chose to get to know Emily in the Casa Amor villa, however, after just 48 hours he was brutally dumped as she chose to stay in a couple with Conor1.

Season Highlights and Drama
This season ties with Season 5 as the season with the fewest original islanders to make the final, with only 2 OGs2. The only OG Islander left in the villa was Shakira, with Toni also entering on Day 1 but as a bombshell9.
On July 16, 2025, charity Women’s Aid issued a statement regarding the toxic behaviour exhibited by the male cast on the show2, highlighting the intense drama and controversy this season generated.
Following the re-coupling on Day 35, it was revealed that Casa Amor contestants Lauren and Ty had previously been part of the “dry run” that takes place prior to the show airing. The pair had supposedly coupled up, and continued to see each other on the outside before entering the villa2.
The Final Results
The grand finale on August 4, 2025, saw the following results:

Post-Villa Updates
This series saw the final four couples, for the first time, being fairly new connections. None of the finalists had upgraded to that boyfriend/girlfriend label10, which led to speculation about the longevity of the relationships.
Meg & Dejon are the only couple that are officially boyfriend and girlfriend10, though recent reports from The Sun, as well as a cryptic post by fellow cast member Emma Munro, are suggesting that Dejon may be cheating on his girlfriend10.
Despite the initial fears of long-distance, with the American bombshell living in Las Vegas, Toni and Cach are still together! Toni revealed on a livestream that she did temporarily have to go back to the US as her visa stay had come to an end, but revealed she is planning to move to the UK permanently10.
Jamie and Yasmin had a chat and decided that it was going to be best for them to go in separate directions. Yas & Jamie are officially the first couple to split from the 2025 series10.
